Respect...

I agreed to home school to give E. a morning off to do a couple of jobs on the farm.

I was handed their worksheets, all 3 are fortune enough to have access to the school education portal via tablets.

The 3 year old limes to do school work like her "grown up" brothers, so a will student got stuck in to her numbers, counting, and writing practice.

The 5 year old also good, but can overlook tasks set by the teacher .....not always by accident, but all subjects done.

I was warned about the 7 year old, he can do it, but is easily distracted.....his willingness to help the others is brilliant, as was his ability to potter off and find anything that was (or wasnt) needed.

It was great fun, but a fairly intensive 2 hours....Totally respect teachers commitment, but parents ,who didn't ever imagine they would have to home school children, let alone in different classes, and cover their own work commitments need a medal!

I'll do it again....but perhaps next week!

Afterwards despite the we all played outside which was great....I had to visit the Wendy House Coffee Shop.
