I got some bird food for the garden today and it reminded me of the time when we used to have a lizard which ate mealworms that my husband kept in a small tank. We kept finding them on the floor and couldnt figure out how they got there until one day  he said to my 3yr old son "I just don't know how they got on the floor" My son replied I don't know either but they can't half go fast He had been taking them and racing them!
