Hair cut

Not for us... but for the Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) on the development where I live.  The pond will be next.  It is quite a big job but it keeps it all tidy and ensure that any issues can be spotted. 

The SuDS take the water from all the roads and driveways though several big ditches and on to a pond and then out a culvert and via ditches to a tributary of the River Uck. It does not really hold much water but does slow the flow down.

Another busy day at work, did not get as much done as I would have liked but got a few things sorted.  There is always more to do.

Dinner and some email and it will soon be time for bed.  

In other news... we have at last received the money for our car which was written off.  It also seems our car has been fixed by who ever brought it and is back up for sale.  We do wonder how much they had to do to fix it but we will probably never know and have our money now.  Still no idea what car we are going to buy or when we might be able to get it.

Claude is also doing okay, his foot was quite swollen this morning and he was limping a bit.  I found some old cat pain killer stuff in the cupboard and gave him some... it was a few months out of date but does seem to have settled him down.
