A Pajamas Day

Too wintery to
consider an outing but
home and food will do!

I was up just after 6 to discover the weatherman got it right this time. There was  snow on my deck. It continued to come down until noon. Meanwhile, I decided at 8 that more sleep was in order. 

I completed my February blocks. Two are hearts and the third is the "Bonus Block" we were encouraged to do. Now that all my blocks are complete I will wait to see what sashing and border is suggested.

Still in pajamas, I made myself a favourite meal for my late lunch - sun dried  tomatoe and basil sausage, locally made, with onion gravy, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots. 

The temperature outside mid afternoon is already above freezing. I see melting on my deck so I can hope the rest of the city's snow might disappear soon.
