Looking Skyward
The most notable thing about today was the sky. I've heard it called a mackerel sky on account of looking like scales, not that I've noticed mackerel to be a particularly scaly fish.
It was refreshing to see some blue sky for a change, if only in patches, and looking upward provided relief from the monotonous white of the snow.
On account of the cold, I only take the camera out with one lens, to avoid fiddling about whilst wearing gloves. I might have preferred to get a wider shot with more sky, but you have to work with the tools at hand.
Not much processing required, only to expand the whites a touch.
