Lessons in the Sand

A group of us from the office where I work part time headed to the beach for a couple of days. It was a good time of refreshment and getting to know each other better.

Peace, his younger brother, and his parents were part of the group. He started practicing writing the ABCs in the sand. I was very impressed that he knew them all, considering he is learning the Thai alphabet too. I'm sure it helps that his family has "foreigner friends" who have used English with Peace since he was born. If I ask him a question in Thai, he'll respond in Thai. But if I ask him a question in English, he'll respond in English. A very smart boy he is!
