Contrast

I liked the contrast between the softness of the feather and brittleness of the egg shell.

Kind of how I feel right now. Soft around the edges and fragile and brittle too.

So tired. All I want is to flop into bed.

Ma's hip replacement is on Saturday, and I'm praying for a successful op and a speedy recovery.

I love you, Ma. Know that you're in my heart and in my prayers always; particularly so at this stressful time.
