Fermain
The wind was from the south west this morning as so we decided to walk across the narrow peninsula and see some of the east coast. It’s not very far to the top of the cliff path in the other direction and so only took us about 15 minutes to get here.
The view looks down onto Fermain bay where several people were on the beach and some brave souls were swimming. There is a photo in extras of the boat and nearby someone is swimming. The view to the right at this point looks out to Herm island which is currently closed as of course we are all in lockdown. The other extra is the tower and restaurant. It is possible to stay at the tower during the season and in normal times. It’s part of the National Trust of Guernsey and is apparently amazing. It’s very peaceful down there as cars are not generally allowed.

If you scroll down there is a video
The dogs got quite muddy as the lane to hear is a water lane which was overflowing. They always have a quick garden bath when we get home.
They are now reclining on their sofa!
