Flower Friday

A day of mixed fortunes. There was some promise of a reasonable day weather wise. a bright but chilly start.

I had an Aerobics class this morning, which went very well. As the weather was looking promising, after yesterdays washout, I booked tickets this afternoon for Rosemoor, with Sue picking me up on route. On our way there the skies got darker, and it started to rain, enough for the wipers to be on. Was it going to be another washout? But no, as we got ready in wet weather gear in the carpark, the skies cleared and the sun appeared.

Staff were busy spreading compost around the gardens, and it was looking lovely, hellebores, snowdrops, camellias, and other plants were showing signs of Spring on its way. A very pleasant hour or so. as we headed back to the car there was a drop of moisture in the air, but cleared. 

A pleasant way to spend the afternoon, and a far more pleasant than my normal walk around one of the local industrial estates!
