thought for the day... why does the sun go behind a cloud when I go out for my walk.  Somehow I am always walking in a shadow with sun elsewhere.. ah well.. I am super happy for those people walking on that hill over there. 
Anyone else get those feelings?
Dropped off some marmalade to my friend who kindly bought me the sugar when she went to the post office.  I stood chatting to her on the doorstep for a while and realised that I havent been out to a shop since posting my Christmas cards in the second week of December!!!!!!  
The headlines today said that outdoor socialising may return at the end of March or April (all being well) and whilst I think whoopee.. I also began to feel a bit weird about it.  have I been locked up for so long that I may never venture out again?  Just putting it out there... 
I chatted with another friend who said.. perhaps this virus will mean we don't have to kiss strangers goodbye when we have only met them once briefly at a party .. she certainly hoped so.... just putting it out there...

Its friday.. we plumped for a chip supper from the van in the local village.  Hubbies first transaction in person since Christmas!!  (Strange life) Sadly I cannot eat the supper from there as they fry the chips in with the batterred fish so I made my own chips and tried a helping of the gluten free scampi I bought the other day.. it was  surprisingly good, if a little out there!
