Audition Day

Today was The Day. She's been working towards this audition specifically for months, to this point for several years. Today she auditioned for specialist music school. And she smashed it. She really did everything we could have asked of her. It was quite the morning but she was brill. We ate many ginger biscuits while she sat in the music room on interviews, paced the room while she did aural tests and I tidied Bs kitchen while the playing part of the audition happened! Right when we were heading for going, B pulled out duets and they played.

We went home and pottered. I promised her a roast dinner so we didn't eat lunch til about 3. By which point she was refusing to leave the house again. 

She did good today.
