Another snowdrop blip
Blip is full of snowdrops at the moment - I guess it's that time of year, combined with the lack of other opportunities.
Our nascent woodland area is actually developing quite a nice showing of snowdrops (and a smattering of winter aconites) along one side of the path - but getting a photo that demonstrates this is currently beyond my skills.
So you get another close up.
Other than a session on the exercise bike, and a wander around the garden, the main thing achieved today - a joint effort between W and myself - was to sort out one of the dining chairs W inherited from his aunt in Germany. The chair has been languishing in the studio for a year or more, (you can see it it beside my old exercise bike in this photo) but finally we got around to tarting it up. W had glued some of the loose joints, and given it a light sand and some oil over the last few days, and then today we worked together stapling a cover over the old seat. Just another three to go. We've brought the refurbished chair into the house, and put one of the other chairs into the studio. It too needs some glue in the old joints.
