Project 365 day 36: in the village

It felt wonderful to see sun and blue sky today, after so many days of rain and heavy cloud. I managed to get out for half an hour before lunch for a quick walk round the village. The good weather had brought a more people out, but we gave each other a wide berth while exchanging friendly greetings and smiles from opposite sides of the street, as we have done for the past eleven months.
