Bushfires

On the last day of summer we learn that this has been the hottest summer on record.
A passing goods train is reported to have fired off sparks starting huge bushfires in Swan Valley and Bullsbrook to the east and north of Perth.
A large pall of smoke hangs over the city as the fire continues.

You have to feel sorry for the people whose homes have been destroyed or are under threat.
