WELL I'LL GO TO THE FOOT OF OUR ................

No not stairs in the case, it's Canal Foot in Ulverston.

Busy Day.  It started off with two phone calls close together, one from Thyme Out confirming our order would be delivered this afternoon, the second was the surgery offering Hubby the inoculation this evening - such a shame that he s already booked into Ulverston for it.

Then the Friday Tai Chi session, much needed and enjoyed.  Whilst I was doing this Hubby and G took our Asda delivery, washed it all down and put it away - it's great to have staff hee hee!!!!

Then this afternoon I accompanied Hubby to have his inoculation.  Well I travelled in the car with him and was there just in case he had a reaction and he needed to be driven home.

We left half our early as you never know what the traffic will be like.  It was surprisingly busy, quite amazed really as I thought we were all in lockdown!!

Anyway we found the Glaxo Smith Klein Social Club where the vaccinations were taking place easily enough, it was very well signposted.  So we just drove down the road to Canal Foot to waste away about 20 minutes.  We were amazed at how busy it was.  We managed to park safely and socially distanced and then went for a short stroll well away from everyone else.  This is the view from the little pier down there.  Most people were being really good but two young Mum's in particular with pushchairs were so busy talking that they didn't social distance from anyone - Grrrrrrrrrrr.

I felt so uncomfortable being outside of Grange that we just jumped back in the car and waited in the car park for Hubby's vaccination time.

The staff were very friendly and they said it was remarkably quiet and were going to close up early tonight.  He was guided to where he needed to go, it was a bit of a walk from the car park - not far but enough if you have mobility issues.  There were only two booths and one person checking you in.  They were having teething problems and had to fetch someone to help as they had trouble with the computer.  Other than that it was all very well organised and handled.

Watched part two of Death in Paradise tonight - brilliant two-parter.  I do wish they wouldn't keep changing the actors though you just start getting used to one and then they go.  I have a strange feeling that current Inspector will be leaving next week - I don't know it's just a feeling.  He has taken some getting used to so it won't be good if they change again.

Do take care everyone, stay safe, the figures still aren't brilliant yet, although they are improving.

Backblipped - Photo and actions were on the 5th but posted on the 6th.
