Today is Laura’s (Mr A’s sister) 40th birthday.

I’m gutted for her that it’s happened during lockdown, but she’s planned virtually a whole years worth of ‘things to do’, so it’s just a case of when she can get out and about to do them.

We’ve given her a voucher for a jewellery making workshop, which was one of the things on her wish list. It’s worked out well as it’s Mama A’s 70th birthday in a couple of weeks, so we’ve got her the same so that they can go together.

As it’s a special birthday, I also got Laura some earrings; more as a thank you really for everything she does for me. She’s a great friend and it’s an awful thing to admit but a better sister than my own!

We’d normally all get together for a family meal but instead have to settle for a Group FaceTime; today’s blip is our backdrop all set up for the call :-)
