Now you see it, now you don't!

My car was collected this afternoon, leaving a little patch of bare earth where it had been standing. I have no regrets and don't feel sad. It was a great little car and served a purpose which is no longer there. I am planning what to spend its costs on!
I managed a 3.5 mile walk this morning in the rain which wasn't ideal but at least the roads were clear of snow. I'm just thinking how much easier it will be to walk when the weather improves, hopefully in the Spring and I won't need so many clothes!
I ordered mum some slippers as she has been saying how cold her feet are. As she's never had this problem before and I'm guessing it's mostly due to not being as mobile. Hopefully the cosy slippers will do the job.
It was a sort of hanging around waiting sort of a day so not much achieved. I seem to be having a few of these recently. I'd better get my act together and finish a few projects, and of course start some more!
