Vaccinated

I'm in the "shielding" group of those who are considered Clinically Extremely Vulnerable, and today I got a call from my GP asking if I could come in 10 minutes for my vaccine.  No hesitation - I was off!

It's great timing for me, because it takes a couple of weeks to have an effect which means it should be starting to kick in about when CyclopsJnr goes back to school which inevitably increases our risk a little (we have to actually leave the house!).

I won't be making any changes to our strict compliance with the rules, but it's a good step forward and reduces the fear just a little, not just for me but for the rest of my family too (who are kind enough to worry about me).

Hopefully this is a step towards better days.
