The Wonder of Stevie
I've dipped into my record collection today, and dug out my Stevie Wonder albums. I think these are the three best ones he made. You have songs like 'Superstition,' 'LIving in the City,' and 'Sir Duke.' Pretty good I'd say. Plus you have the influence of the electronic wizrards, known as 'Tonto's Expanding Headband.' (Malcolm Cecil and Robert Margouleff.) These were quite innovatory records. I always thought Stevie went a bit MOR in the eighties, but you can't be at the cutting edge all of the time.
