Morton Castle

A lovely afternoon walk this afternoon with Joanna, to Morton Castle near Thornhill. First time I'd been there and I was impressed by its lovely lochside setting and the backdrop of snowy hills.

We walked back through the forest and only reached the car as it was beginning to get dark. Somehow we had walked almost 6 miles :-)
