Fly away home

I had a great shot lined up this morning as the sun shone on a lovely Hellebore flower in the garden but my len decided not to work. It has been a bit unreliable recently and keeps telling me the lens can't talk to the camera. My other lens work so I've cleaned the contacts etc but still no luck and today it was quite stubborn. So here is a quick emergency blip taken of the geese on their twice daily flight between the sea and the local fields. I realise as February arrives that they will be gone shortly.
It also seemed appropriate on the day when we said our final goodbyes to my MIL this afternoon and the sun shone for us - RIP J x
