A quiet moment

The traffic has been much busier locally during this lockdown compared with the first. But on my walk this afternoon there was a moment of quiet which was enhanced by the rays of winter sunshine crisscrossing the road through the trees. I have spent the last week tied to the computer screen on a work assignment, so it was nice to get out again during the day. Unfortunately, we are now told that "The Beast from the East" is returning - in truth, that just means we will be getting a bit of snow. It won't linger long!
