Grim day

We have both struggled with motivation today. It has been relentless rain.

Delifresh delivery this morning which is always a highlight, then I sorted out some of the knitted  goods as to what goes where (see extra that Mr H snapped this morning). We were hoping not to walk Reggie today but he started dropping tennis balls at our feet so we bit the bullet and went out. Felt better for it but we were a bit wet when we got back in.

The hole at the end of the street where the electric road dug up last night is full of water , just hoping the temporary repair is water proof.  Strangely I looked at last years photo for yesterday and it was a photo of the hole where they were fixing the electric! The exact same spot.

Then fire engines in the street. One of the neighbours had a fire in the loft. Smoke alarms alerted them, and thankfully no major harm done.

A lovely tea of haggis (supplied by Delifresh and it a made a great change) and now sat knitting, watching the tele, half heartedly , listening to the rain very thankful we don’t live by the beck.
