Today I noticed a little patch of snowdrops in a local wood had started to flower and it really lifted my spirits as there are masses more still to open.  But it did remind me that I blipped some late snowdrops about 200 metres further along the road last year on March 26 after lockdown had started and I commented that life as we know it will have changed within the year and a comment was made saying “it’s just hard to imagine how right now.”
