The Celebration Continues
My granddaughter decided River’s entire family would celebrate his first birthday via Zoom today. It worked great because some relatives are scattered across different states. Even my 92 year old mother joined in the fun on her iPad, assisted by the baby’s aunt and uncle. His aunt also made delicious cupcakes for all of the local relatives to enjoy at the “party”. I want to be honest, the arm that received the vaccine was really sore today so I spent the day either exercising it or wrapping it in the heating pad. And I guess I was more nervous about getting the vaccine than I realized. At some point, my BP went wacky and broke a blood vessel in my eye. It looks much worse than it is but hubby decided I’d have a total resting day. We bought lunch from a fundraiser at three grandchildren’s Catholic school. My youngest daughter prepared the entire meal: shrimp or chicken, her famous homemade Mac and cheese and delicious cole slaw. My oldest daughter and grandson delivered our meals and lunched with us. We had another wonderful day. Thanks for the stars and nice comments.
