The Fisherman

As we arrived home in our boat Chelsea we saw a Great White Egret had landed on one of our floating docks. I had my camera in hand as I walked around behind the docks and waited to see if the bird would be spooked by my presence. Nope! He was so keenly concentrating on fishing off our dock, that he stayed there for quite a while before he flew off! (Check the extra photos).  This is a breeding male; I can tell by the bright green around his eye and the long plumage!  It was great fun to be able to get a number of pictures of him. ; 0)
