Coal Tit
I've been wanting to have a go a wildbird photography for a while. I've set up a feeding area in the quiet corner of a local wood with plenty of light available. After finding the best feeder to deter the local grey squirrels I started this week hiding out under a bag hide I purchased. It is not easy to do as the bag hide has a hole for the lens and a hole for your face and you have to switch between the two . I packed the knott hole in this tree with seed and lard to get the birds to perch. It's early days. This Coal Tit is clearly married since it is sporting a ring on it's right leg.
