New life
I have walked around the garden hundreds of times with my mother.
We enjoyed looking at the changes through the seasons and across the years.
Today the first buds had appeared on the wisteria and I had, I think, a tiny glimpse of asparagus.
My father does not know yet if he will stay at the property he built and the home they shared for many years. He enjoys growing vegetables but the rest was not his domain.
We paused briefly by the pond. I checked on Daisy who is, sensibly, still hibernating. Her future residence also needs to be decided.
Heavy snowfall and low temperatures have been forecast for the next few days which should slow everything down.
