Perching in the Pear Tree

Too cold to contemplate walking today. I had my only breaths of fresh air  when my neighbour round the corner came to warn me that his car had been broken into a couple of nights ago.  My car is parked just beside a security light that senses movement and is in full view of anyone passing the driveway so I'm hoping that the car remains untouched by naughty hands.

I try to remember to keep my camera near the kitchen window when I'm pottering about. This little robin was the only bird I spotted at the bird feeder this morning. He flew to the feeder a few times helping himself to a seed or two before heading back to the relative protection of the pear tree beside the shed.
