Family and snow ( though not together!)

I was hoping for some decent snow today, but it was not to be :-( it snowed all day on and off but it was gritty dry bits that faded quickly without settling.
Late in the day I drove to Pease pottage for a walk, but when I got there the snow was MUCH worse, so much so my car deployed the ABS when I stopped, so I drove home again - slowly. I did photograph the road running alongside my fave field ( see extra) where you can see the lying snow. My main blip is a photograph sent to me by Charlii of her , Cleo, Willow and Rosie all wrapped up on a winter walk - in normal circumstances I would have joined them :-(
