Sally Mair - Loving life

Lovely flooers

I slept well last night, which may still be down to Co-codamol, but was still nice. I opened the curtains in some trepidation this morning but thankfully there was no heavy snow.... it was very cold though!
Our electric garage door has taken the huff and stopped working - which is a pain as our freezer is out there, fortunately the car was in the driveway. Going to the freezer is a bit of a trek but there is a back door to the garage so that's OK.
My knee is continuing to improve and I made a special effort today and got dressed to go to church (it is on Zoom so not as weird as that sounds). We had our coffee time afterwards which was nice too, lots of good wishes which were appreciated.
I've made another pot of carrot soup, that'll keep us warm this week.
These flowers came from Kathryn last week and they're opening up beautifully. I love hyacinths and the scent is filling the room.
Keep safe everybody, can't believe we're having our vaccines this week. On the subject of vaccines, it was lovely to see people picking up the idea in yesterday's blip of donating to Unicef. Thank you, its nice to be able to make a difference
