Birthday Boy

I was trying to get some candid shots of PD but I couldn't sneak up on him and we'd end up laughing.  Here he is trying not to laugh.  You might think from his warm hat and hoodie that our furnace is on the blink but it was 70F in the room with a fire in the fireplace.  He's always cold!

PD has had a very nice birthday starting with a delicious dinner at Becky's last night followed by cake and ice cream.  Today we've had a nice day at home and he's had phone calls and a couple of visits, another birthday dinner and more cake and ice cream.  His preferred team did not win the Superbowl so we're watching the Puppybowl now to cheer him up. 

I am grateful for another birthday we have spent together. :-))
