Almost Friday!

Thought the sun had deserted us today but it made a very welcome appearance later in the morning. The clouds seem to be rolling in a bit now though so getting concerned that 'summer' may be over!
Dog walk done with an awful lot of shenanigans; the sticks were just ridiculous today. Every time we got rid of one big knobbly branch they managed to find an even bigger one; the air was occasionally blue!
Had a nice catch up lunch with my Mum; she's been down visiting my sister. Thank fully she doesn't think Lucy has been too traumatised by her stay with us though I think Bruce and Caley are enjoying having their own beds back!
Today's bake, as requested by boys, was empire biscuits. With sprinkles and not yucky cherries. They are also known as Thursday: Almost The Weekend Biscuits!
