Lily's Uggs

Lily hates cold weather and any association with snow in the winter, so we bought these boots to try to encourage her outings . We were truly skeptical when we bought me, but decided to give it a try. This is what she thought of them.

Similarly, we bought Findlay a new coat that doubles as a harness. The boys picked a moisture-resistant, black ski jacket and couldn't wait to give it a try. He ran away with the jacket, now probably worn with holes from teeth marks.

The dogs went out anyway, no winter gear. And survived. So did all boys over yesterday sledding down Mason hill. And no, they were not allowed to pour water over it to make it slicker. Nice try. A fun day with the kids yesterday and good day in physiology today.
