Hedgehog Steps

The septic tank, which is buried under the lawn, is to be serviced tomorrow. In preparation my son dug down to the lid. When he had finished he thought of the resident hedgehog, which is still small. If it fell in the hole could it get out? I was delighted to see that he’d placed some blocks to make steps.
