Spotted this during the morning meander in Kings Park today. In the lovely rain. I guess whoever carved these initials into this beautiful gum tree thought they were being romantic. 

We also saw some variegated fairy wrens which was a bit of a thrill. And a poser of a kookaburra - see extra ;-)
