Rannoch Station
Decisions, decisions.
So many pictures taken today.
This is Rannoch Station. There is a "small" (er, minescule) tea room where you can get a bowl of soup ("pea and ham - fae a chicken" or a filled roll.
The station's claim to fame is that it was used in a Potter film in 2007 - don't ask me which one as I have a spectacular disliking for anything Potter or J.K. Rowling related.
I have done a bit of research but dug up out nothing other than some images of the Hogwarts Express train going over the viaduct at Rannoch Moor.
The Hogwarts train station in the early films is Goathland Station so I'm not sure what Rannoch's role is.
The Glenfinnan Viaduct also features in the early films and that is near Rannoch
The train, which actually The Jacobite Express and was repainted for the filming transforming it into the H.E., was at the station for the filming for two days and there was an entry in our lodge vsitiors book by a a wee girl who was on holiday and watched the goings on.
