Another Comeback of Winter

The outside temperature plummeted over night and it had snowed a little. Winter will stay with us, at least for the rest of this week, with temperatures down to -15°C. Definitely colder than the last couple of winters.

This afternoon, just after it started to snow again, the air ambulance helicopter flew over our house to the nearby hospital helipad.*
I saw it coming and quickly grabbed my phone to blip it. But I didn't have time to open the roof window, and of course the iPhone focused on the snowflakes and droplets on the window rather than on the helicopter. 

Now that I finished work for today and found time to post my blip, the world turned white once more and this window is covered with a thick layer of snow. 


*We live quite close to the hospital's helipad, but it doesn't get used much - just for very urgent emergencies like major trauma. On average we see the helicopter once or twice a month, and mostly in summer.
