Mini-Beast from the East

After missing the snow yesterday, we woke up to a heavy covering this morning.  I drove (carefully) down to Blakeney for my paper, seeing some rather spectacular drifts across the road where there were gaps in the hedges.  I had a walk around the harbour where I took this shot and the one in the extra, and unfortunately didn’t have the camera ready to get a shot of the man riding his quad bike towing a trailer of children having great fun as he spun around the deserted snowy road.

It was certainly impressive, but not so much as the last Beast from the East when we got marooned in Devon.
