Bright eyed

The blackbird is looking very smart with his dark feathers, bright eye and orange beak. He is hovering around on the grass, trying to pluck up courage to come over and try some of the ground mix I've just put out.
The birds are very hungry in this cold weather, and their pairing off and loud singing seems to have stopped!
Roll on the warmer weather - at least today is the last day of February!!
