Playing with some editing

I have said before that I am trying to do 52Frames.  A 52 week challenge again this year.  I failed miserably last year.  For the one I have chosen this year you are not allowed to raid your photo store, thbe pic has to be taken between Monday and Sunday, and as well as the subject being given you can earn extra points by and additional challenge within the photo.  This week the challenge was a single point of focus and for the extra challenge it had to be shot art f1.4.  I have a lens that is more than capable of this but being indoor and not being able to get that much distance between the background and the main point of focus this was mightly challenging.

This isn't the shot I enterd but it is similar.  This is the one I got distracted with as I tried to lighten the lego figure.    I have never tried doing this in editing software before, and a fellow member gave me some instructions on how to lighten single bits of the shot in lightroom - so all in all a great day for learning.
