I guess winter has finally arrived!

the storm started around 10pm.....it was pretty dramatic...blowing a gale and shaking the rafters!!!  i had to get up around 5am to have a pee and it felt awfully cold....terry noticed it too and was on the ball more than me!  he got up to find the back door (which leads to the back deck (where all our wood is stored) had blown open...we never lock it .... or any other doors for that matter!   There was a large pile of snow on the floor and on the sofa!!!  back to bed with an extra blanket on!!!
