Wintry Walk
Had a family walk. It's the school holidays but we're going nowhere and doing nothing much. As we set out it was even warm in the sunshine. We went via Duddingston and up a path, a steep set of steps I had never before seen or climbed. As we got up on to Arthur's Seat the weather whooshed in from the sea with icy hail. G and kids climbed to the summit but with icy conditions and slippy rock, I didn't fancy a fall on an already broken wrist. I headed back down and waited at the lochside. On my descent, the sun was back out. The wave of hail visible to my left, on the Forth but clear in front on me - the photo above.
