Weak Winter Light
A mere -20°C to contend with at first light, although by the time I took this shot in the afternoon, the temperature had risen by 5°.
A weak sun tried to cast some light on the view across the marsh, but the trees were backlit and it's generally cold here anyway.
As I had my telephoto with me, I made a four shot vertical panorama to capture the scene. With the exposure lock on, I got worried I'd blown the sky, but it all worked out. I set the white balance a touch cooler and used the Classic Chrome profile to reflect the conditions.
