Kiwi Summer...Distant Rain

We need rain. At least we gardeners in town want rain. Grape growers have mixed feelings. They wouldn’t mind some rain .... but not too much at this tricky time for their grape crops. Hannah and Alex at Marahau have reported welcome rain. Duncan at Mahakipawa near Havelock is pleased with the amount that has fallen in his area. Maisie and I walked late this morning. Our walking area is parched and the river is dry. Yay! It has just started raining here.
