Well it couldn't last a whole week could it?

This is part of what my office view looks like when it's grey and the sun has disappeared without trace. I can see the Pentland Hills and the Forth Road Bridge and even Fife on a clear day. It was clear for a while today, there was a glimpse of sunshine as I sat with John at lunchtime. He's really quite good company. For a dead person!

Drab. Dreary. Dull. Dreich.

That pretty much covers that.
