Lunar New Year decorations

Lunar New Year decorations symbolising wealth (golden rice pot full of rice, goldfish) and lots of good fortune  hanging on stalks of pussywillow, symbolising spring. Everything is red and gold because those are auspicious colours. We brought these decorations with us from Singapore and so far I've always decorated the living room with them around the Lunar New Year, such a cheerful sight in the dark months of January and February.
