Alms window?

I don´t know what this signifies and I haven´t managed to read the script; but I´ve been told it may have been a window for monks to distribute alms or food. Since it´s very close to a romanesque church, and there´s a similar window close to a romanesque church in nearby Villaviciosa, that sounds feasible. The compositon wasn´t of my choosing - there´s a For Sale sign on the window that I wanted to avoid. Meanwhile the nearby church is shown in the extra.
