Another big snow fall

We all knew it was going to snow overnight but didn't quite expect utter carnage. Got up early but was too deep to cycle and really wasn't feeling the love for running in, so ordered a taxi but that got cancelled. Joana called me to say she was stuck in Horsforth so after a mad half hour trying to get taxis we eventually got one that picked her up and then came dlwn the ring road to get me. Cars were crashing and sliding everywhere and on the way in Joana got about 100 messages telling her they couldn't get to work. We eventually pulled into Jimmies at 9 o'clock and then set about working in obs. Turns out half the hospital staff didn't make it in, so everything was delayed or cancelled. Ended up being a very busy day in obs, both for me on LW and Joana doing the elective list. Finished everything about 7 and then we got a taxi back home. Snow had almost gone by then which is ridiculous. Haven't seen this much snow in years.
