On call

Morning spent down at the Nuffield doing a corneal transplant for James, always love working with him and missing working with him in NHS. Really lovely case and hopefully sight restoring for the patient. More home schooling in the afternoon and then annoyingly had to come back to work for on call as had sick laparotomy and renal transplant at the same time. Walked into anaesthetic room to find this all prepared for me. Found someone with slightly worse OCD than me!!! Got home about midnight and and hit the sack hard!!
